Eva & Elye’s floral filled adventure session in Craftsbury Common, Vermont.“I find my inspiration in nature– both in the wild woods and fields, and out in my garden. Ideas for color combinations and play of textures and shapes often come from chance juxtapositions of different plants at various life stages, that I see when I’m working in the garden or walking in the woods.” – Eva

The wedding was full of colorful locally grown flowers, emotional vows and speeches, romantic moments by the river, and dancing. “We are two individuals who don’t always know exactly what to say, but know how we feel for each other. Hearing those words brought a sense of peace to my heart, and I am forever grateful for those moments.” – Katy

I am so thrilled to share my fresh logo designed by the brilliant Daniel Sheridan of Sheridan Studio! The minute I saw Daniel’s work I was completely enchanted by his attention to storytelling, texture, and line work. This logo feels so much more authentic to my photography than the one I created for myself all those years ago when I first started out!
From a Table for 2 in your Backyard to Styled Lounge Areas to a Romantic Picnic, I wanted to share a few ideas for couples planning an elopement or micro wedding in the time of Coronavirus!
Brian & Kathryn married on a gorgeous Spring day in the mountains at of Vermont at Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe. The light was golden, the landscape lush and the flower dog, Maple, was absolutely living her best life! “We wanted to feature the mountains, where we love to hike and ski, while still being able to dress up and look elegant. Sense of place is important to us — we wanted the ceremony location, flowers, and photography to feel authentic to Vermont.” – Brian & Kathryn
The Cherry Blossom Festival in the Wooster Square neighborhood in New Haven, Connecticut is magical. “The night before Maeve and Daisy were born, Dan and I went to Wooster Square and shared a Sally’s pizza and Libby’s Italian Pastry Shop. Our “last supper” was sentimental, leaving behind our lives as just the two of us, and welcoming in our greatest gifts. This spring, Julia photographed us in Wooster Square peak cherry blossoms and all felt full circle. We even got a Sally’s pizza.” – Annalise
