In “Parks and Rec” the character of Leslie Knope declared that, “February 13th, Galentine’s Day, is about celebrating lady friends.” This was accompanied with a brunch that honored female friendship, camaraderie and waffles. Inspired by this sentiment, Kelly Golia Events and Kate Murtaugh Events + Design brought together an incredible team women to host a Galentine’s Day celebration at The Tannery Loft.
Upon entering the space, you were greeted by an epic Mimosa Wall planned and styled by Kelly Golia Events and Kate Murtaugh Events + Design, created by Refined Rentals, Balloons by Polished Balloons and Calligraphy by The Paper Perfectionist.
The Head Table was planned and styled by Kelly Golia Events and Kate Murtaugh Events + Design, Florals by Bloom 52, Calligraphy by The Paper Perfectionist, and Rentals by Refined Rentals. Each participant even had a childhood photo of them as part of stationary!
The Dessert Table was designed by Kate Murtaugh Events + Design, Florals by Twig + Briar, Calligraphy by Andrea Anthony, Desserts by Lizzie’s Bakery and Givan Sweets, Mosaic by Live in Mosaics, and Furniture by Kadeema.
Catering was supplied by Mood Food Events and Suddenly Simple Events.

After everything was set up, everyone sat down for a wonderful meal and inspirational words from our hosts. I hope you have a Happy Galentine’s Day, and in the words of Leslie Knope, “You are the most beautiful, glowing sun goddess ever!”
