Christina & Jim planned an intimate Christmas Wedding at their favorite place to celebrate the winter season, at Sugarbush in the Mad River Valley of Vermont. They were the first couple to exchange vows at Allyn’s Lodge, a cabin on the mountainside only accessible by snowcat or chairlift!
“This is a place that is so special to our family and represents a peaceful spot that we spend quality time together away from the normal rush of daily life back in New York. We really wanted the winter wonderland setting and were lucky enough to be able to make that happen at our favorite mountain.” – Christina
Their intimate ceremony included all of their kids participating in the ceremony. “Including the kids in the ceremony, and them having their own set of vows, made it really special because it felt like we got married as a whole family, not just two people.” – Christina
After a candle lit dinner with their immediate family, everyone got on their ski boots and headlamps and went on a night ski down the slopes! Watching a bride ski in her wedding dress was unforgettable and inspiring.
”It was absolutely amazing! I am so happy I didn’t care about how my hair was going to look by the time I got down. I would have regretted it so much if I didn’t do it.” – Christina
Christina & Jim ordered a custom album to hold all their memories dear. Learn more about albums here.
“Julia captured the feel of the day – the special moments that told our story. Julia was amazing to work with and we loved all the details that she was able to capture. I haven’t stopped looking at the pictures since we got them.” – Christina
