I love places like this because you can feel the ancient history within the layers of rocks. “We chose Moss Glen Falls for our engagement session because both Andrew and I have a deep connection to nature, and feel most comfortable there. “ -Katy
2. BROOKLYN COCKTAILS & SUNRISE ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN NEW YORK CITY ~ CALLISON & CONRAD
“I then did my best to not ride any suspicions and get Callison back to Brooklyn before the the botanic garden closed. We barely made it before they closed the gates. We strolled our way through the gardens taking in the fall foliage till we found a nice spot by a pond. I got down on one knee and said some things that came to heart. She said yes! And proceeded to call everyone she could think of as I casually suggested that we go back to her parents apartment to pick up a package that we had been expecting. Little did she know I had planned a surprise party for her with many of her close friends. She had no idea. We partied into the evening and she kept looking at her ring saying something like, ”it’s so pretty”!” – Conrad
3. SARATOGA SPRINGS ENGAGEMENT SESSION ~ DAN & CAITLIN
Dan & Caitlin met in Saratoga Springs, so it seemed only fitting to revisit the town where their romance began for their engagement session. We wandered around downtown Saratoga, strolling around all their old haunts, from Congress Park to Uncommon Grounds Coffee to James & Sons Tobacconists to visiting the the exact spot where they first met at Wheatfields, where Dan was a server and Caitlin was the hostess!
“In addition to her rakishly good looks and winning personality we had so much in common. I could immediately tell we shared a sense of humor; one of the more important qualities for me. We grew close so quickly that others in our circle thought a romance was underway before we even knew it ourselves.” – Dan
4. ELIZABETH PARK ROSE GARDEN ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT ~ ALANA & KYLER
Alana & Kyler’s summer engagement session at the Rose Gardens at Elizabeth Park in Hartford, Connecticut was full of bountiful florals.
“There are over 15,000 rose bushes and 800 varieties of old and new roses in the garden. Featured are hybrid tea, climbers, hybrid perpetual, and floribunda, shrub, and pillar roses, among others. Ramblers grow on arches that radiate from the “gazebo,” or Rustic Summer House, which is covered in Virginia creeper. The gazebo was built in 1904 as a part of the original plan. In 2005, it was reconstructed with the original plans using red cedar.” – Elizabeth Park
5. HONEYMOON VOW READING AT CHATEAU GUTSCH IN LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND
“We both felt this natural, romantic draw to revisit our vows. It was the first time since our private vow reading on the wedding day that we’d recited them to each other. The unexpected delight was how we had already blurred certain details – revisiting in this intimate setting was the perfect moment and place to do so, and I’ll never forget it.” – Nick
6. SHELBURNE FARMS ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN SHELBURNE, VERMONT ~ GUSSIE & CONNOR
Gussie & Connor are one of those couples who clicked right away. “Right from our first date in early May 2018, I knew that I had found someone special. Gussie’s quick wit and adorable personality lured me in from the moment we met. After our trip in early July to my families lake house in Canada, I knew that she was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. It was no surprise to me how easy it was for her to assimilate into not only my immediate family, but extended family as well.” – Connor
7. KAYAKING & BEERS IN BURLINGTON, VERMONT ENGAGEMENT SESSION ~ NATE & DANI
Nate worked with Grant A. Peacock Jewelers in NYC to design this beautiful ring for Dani. Nate’s family has been working with this jeweler for 3 generations, so he knew exactly where to go. The center stone is from Nate’s mom’s mother’s engagement ring and the side stones are from his father’s grandmother’s engagement ring. That’s how you create a family heirloom.
