Jenn and Brian had a luxury boho wedding at Topnotch Resort in the mountains of Vermont. Their team of vendors was exceptional and really brought their vision to life. After planning during the pandemic, the couple was so glad to celebrate with all of their loved ones!
Black Tie and Boho Accents for a Summer Wedding in the Mountains
A shared love for Vermont and the mountains led Jenn and Brian to choose Topnotch Resort as their venue. Their vision, in their own words, was a “classy boho wedding in the mountains of Vermont”—and their day could not have fit that description more perfectly! Their planner, Jaclyn Watson Events, and their florist, Nectar & Root, teamed up to put together the dreamiest ceremony decor and reception tablescapes. Pastel tones with oversized pink, orange, and mauve roses interspersed with sprigs of greenery to adorn the couple’s ceremony chuppah. Later on, they paired the same blooms with trailing burgundy amaranthus to form dramatic centerpieces.
In addition, Jenn’s gown by Rue de Seine is the epitome of boho romance! Bold lace cutouts covered its long sleeves and flowing skirt, which she paired with an off-white slip. In addition, she wore pearl drop earrings and a braided half-up hairstyle to complete her look. Meanwhile, Brian sported an elegant black tux.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Topnotch Resort
Both partners agreed that their ceremony was the most emotional part of the day. Jenn’s brother, Eric, officiated, and the two say that he moved them with “his ability to share our love story so brilliantly with our guests.” A surprise arranged by Eric also awaited them at the close of the ceremony—a confetti cannon! Jenn and Brian were both shocked and agreed that it was one of their favorite moments of the day. Plus, it made for some pretty great pictures!
There are not enough words to share how amazing Julia is! Not only did she capture the most beautiful pictures, but we also could feel that she genuinely loved being there to capture our day with our family and friends, which made the biggest difference.
Once we finished with the formal bridal party and family pictures, she let the pictures happen naturally. We never felt that the pictures were forced or constantly posed, which we really appreciated as we wanted to have memories that captured us being in the moment. She was so engaged and enthusiastic throughout the day too, and our guests complimented us on how sweet she was! We now have such beautiful pictures and moments to reminisce on, all thanks to Julia! We highly recommend her!
