Brae & Kyle’s cherry blossom DC wedding is pure joy from start to finish. This wedding is all about the charm of the city, their personalities, and that unforgettable springtime magic unique to Washington DC.

Ceremony at Iron Gate

The day began with getting ready at the Mayflower Hotel. Then onto a quiet, heartfelt ceremony at the historic Iron Gate. Followed by a candlelit, multi-course lunch reception.

Afterwards, we captured portraits framed by cherry blossoms at the monuments. Every detail reflected Brae & Kyle’s deep love for DC and its spring beauty. Expertly planned by Lizzie Noble Events.

Cherry Blossom DC celebration at Mercy Me

Later, the celebration continued with a welcome party at Mercy Me Bar, where an incredible cherry blossom installation brought the season indoors. Guests sipped cocktails beneath a canopy of blooms, setting the tone for a weekend filled with connection, warmth, and celebration. A weekend full of connection, laughter, and celebration—all centered around the heart of Dupont Circle.

Pickleball followed by Patterson Mansion

After a midday pickleball match at Kraken Courts (yes, everyone was invited—rackets and all). They continued the festivities with a black-tie reception. Patterson Mansion in Dupont Circle. This cherry blossom DC wedding wouldn’t have been complete without a late-night twist: wigs, sunglasses, and a packed dance floor that kept the energy going well into the night.

Brae & Kyle planned a wedding that felt true to their relationship. Joyful, unpretentious, full of love, and deeply rooted in the place they call home. Every moment, from getting ready at the Mayflower Hotel to exchanging vows surrounded by their closest people, is infused with meaning and light.
