Planner Jaclyn Watson Events, florist Folklore Flower Co., and a talented team of vendors teamed up to create this editorial to show a city elopement can be romantic and magical. The colorful floral palette of lemon and soft purple showed how lovely spring florals can be for a NYC spring wedding.

NYC Rooftop Wedding Ceremony

Above the Heights is a new wedding venue premiering in Washington Heights in New York City. The venue has a large reception space and an outdoor ceremony rooftop with stunning city skyline views. With unobstructed views of Manhattan and George Washington Bridge, Above The Heights is a great spot for a rooftop wedding. Champagne tower and romantic reception space

Popping some champagne with the NYC skyline in the background felt perfect for a city wedding. A gorgeous champagne tower included spring flowers floating in each glass. Meanwhile, a romantic tablescape waited in the reception space. The artful spring blooms and taper candles that popped against rose-colored velvet linen. This added character to the adjacent minimalist reception space.

Perfectly suited to this modern nyc wedding fashion, the couple donned chic city attire. Danae in a flirty mini dress “Odette” by Alexandra Grecco. Jason sporting a classic black tux. If you and your partner love the idea of ditching big wedding plans, this will surely convince you to elope in the city. Especially when so many incredible locations for portraits are just around the corner for portraits! NYC wedding locations such as the New York Public Library and Central Park are some of my favorites.
