My favorite way to plan a family session is to focus on the activities that are quintessential to their lives right now. For Lance & Katie & newborn Analise, it’s spending time at their favorite places in downtown Winooski and quiet time at home. Lance & Katie spend a lot of time walking around Winooski and enjoying the local hot spots, specifically Misery Loves Company and Scout & Co, which Analise seemed very accustomed to, since she slept through almost our entire walk! “Our favorite moments as parents are watching her grow and change and sharing our passions with her.”
Snuggling up at home, Analise was very relaxed for a newborn. I asked them what has been the hardest part of parenting, “So far, it’s center around sleeping. You never know how much you need something so basic until it is gone.” Their advice for couples with newborns is, “To be mindful and present as much as you can. Even the hardest moments are temporary and constantly changing…and… Make time, even if just 10 seconds, for each other.”
